Ingredients :
°2 large unbeaten egg whites°1 1/4 cup granulated sugar°Half a cup of cold water°1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar or 1 teaspoon corn syrup°1 teaspoon vanilla
Préparations :
Combine the egg whites, sugar, water, and cream of tartar in the top of a double boiler. Mix well.Place over boiling water and whisk constantly until mixture reaches peaks. This will take at least 7 minutes, but most likely closer to 10.Remove from the fire.Add the vanilla and whisk until it’s thick enough to spread.Makes 5-6 cups of frosting.notesCalories shown are based on a 15-serving cake frosting recipe, with 1 serving of frosting for 1 slice of cake (about 1/3 cup).Enjoy !
