Whew!!
Yesterday’s discussion was intense. There were some great conversation and comments happening though. It actually ended up going a little bit more into religion then I meant it to.
I have a post about religion and what I believe brewing around in my head, I just need to find the time to put it down into a post in an articulate manner. Those kinds of posts can be hard to write!
Anyways, moving on. I thought we’d go with a little bit of a lighter topic for today.
{My planne screams at me every time I open it. I swear!}
Life has been kicking my butt, lately. Seriously, someone remind me why I thought it would be a good idea to take on three part-time jobs + freelancing + a full-time course load + training for a half-marathon. Anyone? Someone slap me next time I try to do that, OK!?
So I was browsing through my old posts the other day looking for something and I stumbled on this post where I wrote about the things I was looking forward to in the next day, week, month and year. I thought it would be fun to do it again!
In the next day, I am looking forward to watching Grey’s Anatomy tonight and tomorrow being Friday. The weekend is here again already, hurray!
In the next week, I am looking forward to getting some big assignments done and handed in next week and the fact that I only have one more week of classes left before reading break! I’m also looking forward to going out this weekend. I haven’t gone out-out in forever.
In the next month, I am looking forward to going home on February, 17! SO MUCH! It’ll have been 6 weeks since I last saw Eric, which is the longest we’ve gone without seeing each other EVER. I am also looking forward to moving into my new apartment on March 1! More on that next week…
In the next year, I am looking forward to graduating university, going to Europe, starting my career, training for and running a marathon, meeting blog friends. There are so many things I’m looking forward to in the next year! Can the next year just happen already, please and thank you!
What are you looking forward to in the next day, week, month and year?

I have lots to look forward to, but I also feel like my schedule is kicking my butt. i am just kind of overwhelmed. I’m so exhausted by the end of the week, I don’t even want to really see anyone and kind of want to be a hermit so I can re-charge my battery… but that is not at all healthy… Still trying to figure out how to make it all work!!
Way to be busy! Vice or virtue….guess it depends on the day. I have one high intense job right now and Im tired all the freaking time, I dont know how you are doing all that and are still alive!!

Not to make myself sound SO much older than you, but man I remember how it felt to want the whole year to just happen already, especially right when I was graduating from college. I remember looking for a job and trying to figure out where I was going to live, and I just thought “Can I just wake up a year from now please?” But you know, really enjoy this time, your classes, your professors, the routine that you have now. Soak it up because once it’s gone, it’s gone. You really cannot walk through a stream twice so I just encourage you to really sit back and enjoy the time, the privacy, and the control you have over your time because the older you get, the less of “your time” is actually your time (spouse, kids, boss, etc.).
the wedding!!!! what else!? and oh yeah turning 30. i’m stoked!
I think fate/coincidence discussions are too closely related to religion to avoid getting into religious discussions.
And I have a red planner too! And, although it’s not screaming yet, it’s getting rather vocal.
Anyways, this sounds like fun, so here goes:
In the next day I’m looking forward to eating my homemade Lemon Meringue Pie, hopefully for breakfast, after fried eggs on toast with a cuppa tea.
In the next week, I’m looking forward to turning 25. I don’t celebrate birthdays, but I like to use them as an opportunity to look back and examine where I’m going in my life. More than New Year’s, but without the resolutions.
In the next month, I’m looking forward to having completed at least one research paper (if not two), and to have gathered my courage up and started freelancing.
