Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends! I have to admit, I’m a little jealous, I lovveeee Thanksgiving. I think it’s probably my favourite holiday (mostly because of the delicious food).
Anyways, I know most of you are off work/school today and spending it with your families (lucky ducks) so I just wanted to do a quick thank you post. Because, you know, even though it’s not the Canadian Thanksgiving today, I think that everyday is a good day to be thankful.
Today I’m thankful for my wonderful family, my fantastic boyfriend, my cuddly kitty and my fun and fabulous friends.
But, you know what I’m really thankful for today?
You, dear readers.
I am so unbelievably, head-over-heels, in love with this blog and the blogging community; you have no idea. I’m so thankful that I’ve “met” so many fabulous people through this outlet.
You give me advice, you listen to me whine, you make me feel better when I’m sad, you relate to me, you tell me to smarten up, you support me through the hard times and the good times.
I am thankful for each and everyone of you (and I know there are approx. 100 of you looking at this every day, so why not stop in and say hi?)
So, today, no matter what country you’re in or whether you normally comment or not, why don’t you stop in and say ‘hi’ and tell me what you’re thankful for?

yay, I’m the first! hehe. I should totally be asleep, but I’m not. anyways… I am thankful for you, too!! really, I am. I am so glad to have “met” so many wonderful people through the blogosphere. it’s funny that about a year or so ago, I really didn’t know that such a fabulous online community existed. I mean, I knew there were blogs, but I didn’t know they were all so fabulous!
I am planning on writing a thankful post later today… so I’ll save all my other “thankful” notes for then
but what I realize every Thanksgiving is that I do have a lot to be thankful for and that I should give thanks more often.

I have lots to be thankful for this year, though it’s hard to sometimes see that when life gets in the way. So I guess I’m really glad there is a day like today to force you to look at the good and sort out the bad.
I’m thankful for my son, my husband, my “Paco”, our health, my husband’s job, our home, and the fact that I get to see my family today! My grandparents are just going to go crazy watching my son walk and talk his way through the holiday!

Have a fantastic day. I am getting ready to head out the door for my 10k. It’s not snowing or raining, so I am very thankful for that! It’s a little cool – around freezing w/ a windchill, but I will take that over snow or rain!!

I’m thankful for my legs. I’ve been mistreating them a bit by running 4 times a week and they’re starting to tell me that that may be too much, but they’re still holding me through it!

I am so thankful for such an amazing year, buying a house, marrying the love of my life and now we’re looking forward to a baby next June!!! Its been quite the year but it was such an amazing one! I got back into running earlier this year and was looking forward to training all winter for a race next spring but i’ll have to put that off for another year
