Looking forward

Funky town has passed – my semi-depressive state has moved on with the heat. Thank god.

A few things I did last weekend to cheer myself up; I slept, I cooked, I baked, I drank red wine, I read a book, I layed outside, I invested myself in a work project, I ran, I spent time with friends.

A delicious dinner that I spent two hours making on Saturday night, while listening to music and sipping on wine:

Oh, I also booked a trip home in September and planned two birthdays for myself; one in Kamloops and one in FSJ. Hey, a girl only turns 21 once, right?!

So, in light of my new, more-positive attitude I’m going to list some things I’m looking forward to…

In the next day, I am looking forward to Big Brother, tonight! Can’t wait for Jeff to use that mystery power to turn the house upside down. PS: Thank you, America for voting for Jeff. I <3 him!

In the next week,I am looking forward to going to see the Time Travelers Wife and Post Grad – two great looking movies. I adore Alexis Bledel and I get shivers every time I see a trailer for the Time Travelers Wife. Eric Bana is hot.

In the next month,I am looking forward to going home for a visit, celebrating my 21st birthday, starting school again and all my friends moving back to Kamloops for our fourth year!

In the next year, I am looking forward to graduating and getting my undergrad degree!! There might be more school in my future, but not for a few years, I hope :-)

OK, your turn! What are you looking forward to in the next day, week, month and year??

PPS-Last night we got home from a 45 mile bike ride and I made salmon w/teriyaki/soy marinade, salad and rice. It was nice to finally get a real, home cooked meal in. Tonight, on the books is blue cheese burgers, chips and corn on the cob! MMM!
