Q & A

by MissAmber on July 24, 2009 · 19 comments

in blogging, writing

After some deliberation I’ve decided to jump on the Q & A bandwagon (or blogwagon?). You see, I’ve had a lot of trouble coming up with blog topics lately. The night before last I sat staring at the screen for a good 10 minutes before I decided to just do bullets!

I might follow in the footsteps of Lily and Megan and do a separate blogpost for each question. Or, I might try to group questions together that relate to one another. I dunno, I’ll see. Hopefully your awesome questions will give me the writing motivation I need!

For those of you not familiar with this, the rules are; ask me anything. That’s right, anything at all and I promise to answer truthfully! However, I do ask that you keep the questions PG-rated. My parents read this blog, people!

I also thought this would be a good way for some of my new readers to get to know me. Those of you scratching your head thinking, “who’s this Eric person she speaks of?” can now ask without feeling silly. (Eric’s my boyfriend, who I live with, btw - for anyone that was wondering).

So, 1… 2…. 3…. and GO!

Ask Me ANYTHING!!!

I’m sure these are somewhere in your blog archives, but I’m asking anyway.

How did you get into running?
AND
How did you & Eric meet?

I’m going to ask random questions:

What is your favorite city in Canada?
What is the best vacation you’ve taken?
If you could go on a vacation, anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Happy Friday, my dear! Oh, and I also loved “Little Women”. I should go back & re-read that too. I kind of get overwhelmed by all of the books I have to read - my to read list is also out of control! But there are so many books I’d love to go back & re-read, like that one. And the HP series. Then maybe if I re-read the books, I will start watching the movies. I am afraid I’ll be disappointed!

Ok, enough rambling…

I agree with megan, how did you get into running and more stuff about trail running!

4 Jessica July 24, 2009 at 11:13 AM

I know you have written about your internship and your freelancing stuff…what do you hope to do once you graduate?

5 Anais July 24, 2009 at 11:57 AM

What’s the one food you could eat for the rest of your life? And what’s your favorite mealtime of the day? :)

I’ll try to think of others, but my brain isn’t very fresh right now…lol :)

I was going to ask Jessica’s question (which I’m sure you’re sick of getting!), what do you want to do after you graduate? How did you get into hockey? Is it common for girls to play hockey where you are? (it’s really unique here!)

i’m really brain dead on what questions to ask. hah!

what’s the strangest place you eva made whoopie?

don’t answer that publicly. you might tbe too young to know the tv reference or even remember the Newlywed Show.

9 Nora July 24, 2009 at 2:57 PM

Here you go:

#1 diet tip (Besides writing down the food you eat)?
#2 what is the worst date you’ve ever been on? Best date?
#3 If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life, what would that be and why?
#4 what do your parents think of your blog & the friendships you’ve created?

10 Carissa July 24, 2009 at 3:23 PM

it’s tough to think of a good question! I like Nora’s #4 and Jessica’s question about what you want to do after college…

looking even farther ahead, where do you see yourself in 10 years? think, job, husband, number of kids, city living in, etc?

11 Heather C July 24, 2009 at 4:32 PM

soo, you and Eric have been together 5 years, correct?….

what’s the BEST date he’s taken you on? (or you did for him?) favorite memory type thing. (yes, I imagine that’s hard to come up with after 5 years. a challenge ;) )

have a good weekend!

12 shoshanah July 24, 2009 at 7:06 PM

I’m trying to come up with something good, but never really like the questions I come up with. Let’s see…

Do you have a favorite book?
If you could be 3 people who would it be? (This would include dead or alive , real or fictional…)
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 year? 15? 20?
Do people in your real life know about your blog? What do they think about it?

13 Jennifer - Somewhere In Between July 26, 2009 at 10:01 AM

If you could move anywhere in the world and start over, where would you move, and what would you do!?

14 Mia {runs and rests} July 26, 2009 at 7:53 PM

The questions posted are really good! :D They got me thinking of my own answers. Haha.
-What superpower would you like to possess (if any)?
-What food is unique to your city? Or a specialty?

15 Em July 26, 2009 at 7:56 PM

How did you get the motivation to intially lose weight?

16 Meghan July 27, 2009 at 11:10 AM

Ohhhhhh, from a local perspective ;)
Your favourite place to run, eat and be in Kamloops?
Contents of your purse at this very second?

17 sarah marie p July 27, 2009 at 6:58 PM

What’s your favorite movie?
Your favorite outfit?
A few of your favorite things about Eric? The most annoying thing about Eric?

18 LiLu July 28, 2009 at 6:14 AM

What are you three favorite foods?

…Now, if you had to give one of them up forever, which would it be?
