Here’s some photo’s of me and Webster after I got home yesterday. I missed him SO much so we cuddled up for a three hour nap together. He’s the cuddliest little kitty ever!

I can’t believe it’s here.
For a bit of history about how I got here, about to run my first half-marathon, check out these posts:
A 3-mile run. I was falling in love with running.
20 pounds lighter: It sure makes running a lot easier than it used to be.
500 miles: my New Year’s resolution was to run 500 miles this year.
21 minutes: two miles and 21 minutes felt so hard. 13.1 miles seemed impossible then…
No excuses, I hit a rut, but I pushed through it.
Training during midterms, balancing everything became difficult.
30-day shred: The best $14 I ever spent.
Cold run: Even below freezing temperatures didn’t stop me from getting a run in.
No gym membership, no problem: How I got creative once my gym membership expired.
I am stronger: a realization that the number on the scale doesn’t mean everything.
No music: learning to run without my beloved Sally.
Looking back on all these posts, I don’t know if I would have made it here if it hadn’t been for the support of the blogging community and the accountability that this blog has given me. I knew that you guys knew I was in training, so I wasn’t about to cop out and give up. I was determined to stick to it. I’ve never been able to stick with running before, but somehow I was able to this time. I think the blog and YOU guy’s deserve the credit for that one.
I’m so excited/nervous for this! I can’t believe it’s here…
I’ll be back Monday with an update and hopefully have a full race report for you by Tuesday or Wednesday.
Have a good weekend. XO

Good luck!! You’ll do awesome! I vividly remember my 1st 1/2. I was so scared, and there were times during the race when I said, “self, are you seriously running 13.1 miles?”
Yea for you for doing this!
Awesome! Just keep it steady throughout and I think you’ll be able to run the whole thing! don’t forget to replenish yourself throughout!
I’m thinking about suspending my gym membership for the summer to try out jillian michaels shred dvd and stick it out with running!
You’re gonna rock it!
