Guest posting, marathon photo’s and another race
H-woman, Carol and me before the marathon. We look chipper considering it was 6:30 am.
H-woman and me waiting at the start! I LOVE her running skirt!!
This was near the beginning of the race, within the first five miles, with water bottle still in hand!

Checking the time on my phone, Vancouver skyline in the background!

The end is near; I start sprinting when I see the finish line about 200 metres in front of me!

And sprinting…

So close to being there. Unfortunately they didn’t get any pictures of me actually crossing the finish line but this one was taken right near the end!
-Also, I signed up for another half-marathon, and it’s soon! Make sure you check in tomorrow for details about it!
-I was thisclose to getting a Bikram membership. But then I decided I just couldn’t afford to fork over $149 a month for one and the studio in Kamloops doesn’t have any specials, well unless you count $199 down from $249 for 20 passes a special! Ya, I still can’t afford that. So, I’m going to check out a ladies only gym that’s really close to my internship. I’ve never cared much for all women’s gyms, but this one seems to have good classes and the membership is cheeap, plus it’s literally like a block from my internship and it has spinning. Oh how I’ve missed spinning, are any girls out there members of ladies only gyms??
- Don’t forget to go here to read my actual blog post for today!

Those are great pics – it is sick how expensive they are, isn’t it? Glad you were able to snag some to post on your blog!
Another 1/2 – how exciting?
great pics. i can’t wait to see what the next half is.
btw, now that you’ve done a half marathon, which do you think is more challenging, a half marathon or a sprint triathlon? i think the sprint tri is easier than a half mary.
You look great in these toward the end, I would be a tomato. I love her running skirt, too!
Great photos =)
Another half marathon, huh? I hear that once people start running them, they can’t stop!
Amazing pictures!!! You look great, and extremely happy!
I love that picture with the vancouver skyline!
love the photos! my fave is the one with the vancouver skyline in the background, even if you are looking at your phone!
Congrats on the race!!! I left you an award on my blog!
Congrats on your half marathon! Wow! I can’t imagine running that far. But I have to say, your story is inspirational. I doubt I could work up to that even (taking care of my son takes up most of my free time), but seeing how far you’ve come has given me hope that someday I’ll be able to run more than I can now (probably less than a quarter mile … I’m really out of shape, cardiovascularly speaking). Kudos to you!
Wow! Congrats on the race!!!
You got a lot of Great pics – thats always fun! My parents ordered one from my first race too and I was like umm really? Ha! So much $ for just a pic, but they love it so its cute.
