I missed you guys, terribly!

First and foremost, I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to each and everyone of my guest bloggers. I appreciate it so much and the posts were awesome.

Second, I have SO much to say. I feel overwhelmed with all the things I have to tell you guys. So, I’m pulling out the bullets and going to list some of the things that happened over the last week and a half or so. I will elaborate on some things later on this week.

- I’m back in Fort St. John for two weeks to get things organized at my old pool job. I was offered the head lifeguard position this summer as I’ve held the assistant head lifeguard position for the last three summers but I turned it down. I did agree to return for two weeks to get things organized and train new staff. I start tomorrow and fly back to Kamloops on April 30. I miss Webster SO much already. Oh, and Eric too…

- I DID get a new car. Check in tomorrow to find out what kind and get a full, detailed post on the car search.

- I ate and ate and ate. Seriously, chocolate, hot dogs, hamburgers, fudge, caramel apples, pasta, red wine, you name it and I ate it last week. I did not record one, single morsel so I can only imagine how over the top my calorie count was. I’m scared to step on a scale. I AM getting back on track this week.

- I ran. Not as much as I was supposed to but I did get four runs in, including a 12-mile run on Sunday. The 12-mile run actually went amazingly well since I’m back in Fort St. John where it’s FLAT. After all the training I’ve been doing on hills the 12 miles on flat land felt great. I had a bit of knee and foot pain though, which resulted in a bit more walking than I would have liked. I still made OK time though: 2:10 for 12 miles. Two weeks ago it took me two hours to do 10 miles in Kamloops, that was running through big hills though.

- I went snowboarding for the first time in two years. I had an amazing time. I forgot how much I love whipping down the hill on a snowboard!

- I got an internship at a great PR firm in Kamloops. I start on May 4 and will be doing it for the entire month of May. I don’t have all the details yet but as soon as I do I’ll fill you in!

- Finally, I got a blackberry. This actually happened at the very beginning of last week and that is what I’m going to elaborate on today.

It was a spur of the moment decision, I’ve wanted a blackberry for awhile but I still had a year and a half left on my other contract and blackberry’s are pricey! Last Saturday, we were at the mall and I thought I’d check out the blackberry curves. Well, I looked at the pink blackberry curve and before I could stop myself or even get a grip on what I was doing I was buying it! Bye, bye tax return.

It was PRICEY and I was having a bit of buyers remorse afterwards. Ya, that lasted about 10 minutes. Now I freaking love it. I don’t know what I did before I had a blackberry, seriously! I check my email on it, I read news on it AND the best part is, I read BLOGS on it!!!

So even though I wasn’t the commenting queen last week I was reading all your blogs, on my blackberry! I was so busy I barely had time to turn my laptop on last week, but every once in awhile when I had a few extra minutes I would check google reader. Then, on the 11 hour roadtrip back to FSJ on Saturday I got fully caught up, and even left a few comments via blackberry! Seriously, I don’t know how I ever got by without it. I understand why they call them “crackberry’s”.

Do you have a blackberry? Do you love it?

PS: Thank you, Katie for the Kreativ Blogger award! I would like to pass this on to EVERYONE on my blogroll. I’m sorry, I can’t pick just seven, I adore all your blogs.

PPS: Happy 22nd Birthday to Andrea over at A Country Girl’s Life.

Welcome back! I missed you but your guest bloggers were fantastic!

I don't have a bb but plan on getting one in May when I am eligible for a phone upgrade. And I can't wait!

Congrats on getting an internship!

And don't sweat too much about the calories. You'll be back on track in no time. You were so busy last week, so those are the times when you need to just cut yourself some slack & over indulge a bit!

Can't wait to hear what kind of car you bought!!!

Congrats on the internship, it’s amazing! it’s probably going to be a TON of fun as well :)

About the eating, I slacked off a bit too, but I’m back! lol :)

Can’t wait to hear more!

Okay your life is so awesome.

I’ll trade.

I’ve got a stomach ulcer and an exploding blackberry.

No?

Damn. I tried.

Given my huge obsession with Blogs, a Blackberry will be my next phone. I’m trying to talk Verizon into an early upgrade, but they’re not accepting yet.

Maybe I’ll try again today…

well it’s good to have you back! i’ve been missing you lately. especially since you were a little down before leaving town. glad to hear everything’s perky again! i’ve been a little blue the last week or so.

I gave up the cell phone a few months ago, but i had a windows version of the blackberry. it is very addictive. but since i never leave the house anymore i just didn’t need a cell phone.

I don’t have a crackberry, but I do have an iPhone, and from what I understand the capabilities are pretty much the same. I love my iPhone. So much. :)

wow! a lot did happen while you were away! congrats on the new car, I can’t wait to hear all about your search and see what you got! and congrats on the internship too! so glad that worked out for you.

I also ate a lot of junk food this weekend, mostly on Sunday. eggs, chocolate, cupcakes, marshmallows, pasta, bread, meatballs… holidays are so bad!! at least you ran. me, not so much…

jealous you went snowboarding! I’ve never been.

I don’t have a blackberry and I usually think “what’s all the fuss about” with those types of hi-tech phones, but it does sound pretty amazing from what you said. Is it easy to use?

glad to have you back!

AWWWW I just have to say…. I freaking love you!!! How nice are you wishing me happy birthday on your blog!

I have a blackberry pearl and I love it too but I sometimes wish I had gotten the curve. Oh well…I’m stuck with the pearl for another year or so!

Congrats on the internship! It sounds like a great opportunity. And 12 miles? geesh! Eat some chocolate girl! You deserve it!!

Glad you’re baaaack! I have wanted a crackberry, but I don’t want to have access to my email that much so I’ve stayed away. They are very pretty though and my bf is able to tell me the weather forecast when I need it from his, which is great.

I love my blackberry! It’s the best! Welcome to the cool club :)
So glad you are back and had a great trip. You definitely deserve to have a week of splurging on foods since you have been working out so much. I am still impressed by the fact that you can run 12 miles! Congrats on the PR internship. That is perfect for you!

and yay for the internship! i know you were really hoping that you would’ve landed one so you can stay in the area!

I’m just as addicted to my iPhone. Sometimes I freak out and think I left it at home, only to find it at the bottom of my purse- which makes me more relieved than is humanly acceptable.

I love my pearl. It is the best phone ever, and I love the cool things it can do. You can tweet, facebook, gmail, gtalk, and all that jazz. You will have a blast with it!

Congrats on your internship! I know how worried you were about finding one.

I don’t want a Blackberry, for the very reason that I KNOW I will become addicted to it. Even though my contract is up. And verizon is currently have a buy 1 Blackberry, get 1 free. My dad wants one, so he keeps trying to convince me to get too, so he feel justified (since 1 will be free). But I REALLY do not need another addiction.

Congrats on everything! The run, the car, the internship, the blackberry, it all sounds amazing.

I have a Blackberry Pearl but I want a new full-size one; I’m hoping to wait until sometime this fall to buy it but I’m not sure if it will happen or not!

And indulging in food is allowed every once in awhile =)

Glad to have you back!
