Blog Love!
Can you tell I’m bored up in my lil ole’ hometown? How often do I post on Saturdays? Ummm, almost never! But I’ve been getting some blog love lately so I thought I’d spread it around. Love is meant to be shared right, even blog love!
Megan gave me the Honest Scrap award.
I’m supposed to use it to tell my readers 10 true things about myself. Hmmm, I did the 25 thing post a while back, can I just link you back to that?…
Kidding, OK here goes.
1. In my opinion, chocolate is a food group.
2. When I was young I had warts on my right hand. I was terribly embarrassed of them so I would ALWAYS wear long sleeve t-shirts and pull the sleeve down to cover my hand. Even in the middle of the summer.
3. I grew up in a store, kind of. My parents owned a small convenience store out in the country and our house was attached to it, you’d walk through a door and go from our kitchen into the store.
4. You know how everyone had their celebrity crushes? Well, I loved Mike Comrie (hockey player) and I even met him and got his autograph when he was playing for the Edmonton Oilers. My room was plastered with posters of him and I even knew his birthday (it’s September 11 in case anyone was wondering). Damn Hillary Duff swooping in and stealing him. Speaking of that, since when did hockey players become the new celebrities?
5. My favourite movie when I was a kid was ‘Quigley down under’. I still love it. Tom Selleck is a sexy man.
6. I’m really jealous of people who have travelled. I went to Germany last summer and it was an amazing experience. I can’t wait to travel more but a small piece of me is scared that life will get in the way.
7. I like red wine. I like it a lot.
8. I really, really, really like the song ‘See you again’ by Miley Cyrus. I don’t like any of her other songs, but that one is awesome.
9. My mom is a really talented painter and so is my brother. I have a few aunts who are amazing singers. I don’t have a creative bone in my body when it comes to that sort of thing.
10. It took me 30 minutes to think of nine things to write about myself.

For this award I am supposed to list five of my guilty pleasures.
1. Blogging, facebook, twitter. I’m addicted to the internet and not afraid to admit it. Though it can be overwhelming at times, I pretty much love it anyways.
2. Chocolate in all shapes and forms. I would give up sex, the internet, TV, pretty much anything for chocolate. Fruit dipped in chocolate is absolutely divine.
3. Clothes shopping. I love buying clothes, I really do. My closet and drawers are overflowing but I still want to buy more clothes!
4. Sleep. I’m obsessive about sleep, all I need is sleep and chocolate and my life would be complete. I need at least seven hours a night or I won’t function properly.
5. Sun. I know it’s SO bad for you, and especially for me since I am so fair-skinned but I just love lying out in the hot sunshine all day long. Preferably by a lake so I can jump in and cool off every once in awhile.

I used to always wear long sleeves to cover up my pink arms. I am so pale, I’m pink!
I’m jealous of people who’ve travelled too. I wish I had gone overseas in college and I really hope “real life” (aka, work) doesn’t get in the way… there’s so many places I wanna go! denmark, germany, italy, france, australia…
and I like white wine a lot. specifically, pinot grigio! I guess we are winos

I just did my 1/2 yesterday. and thought of both you and anais. and kept running (even though I so wanted to stop in the DEAD heat!) because i knew you guys were going to go through the same thing, and i felt like stopping to walk was giving up! and pulled through it! i’m ready for my next one!
