My Baby!

I was swimming last night, thinking about what I was going to blog about today, when I actually had to give my head a shake, underwater. I have an essay due this morning and last night I hadn’t even started it, so I quickly began brainstorming idea’s for my essay, not my blog!

In light of these developments, I’ve decided to do a photo-blog of my baby. No, not Eric. Webster! Seriously, people, you might think this is super weird but I love this lil kitty SO much. I have never really felt maternal towards other people’s kids and I always had this nagging feeling that I wasn’t the ‘motherly’ type, but now that I have my own little baby to raise (sort of) I feel so loving and maternal to him. I mean I can’t imagine loving a baby as much as I love Webster that’s for sure. OK, now that you’re all completely convinced that I’m going to be the next crazy cat lady, here’s some pics!

We got him two days before Halloween, he was SO small, here he is running across the kitchen floor!

Hanging out on my laptop, his FAVOURITE place, he didn’t even stretch out the whole length of it, now he’s twice as big!

Trying to get on the table, the lil bugger still does that, only now he can jump from the floor onto the table, no chair needed!

Hanging out in the drawer, his second-favourite place, unfortunately he doesn’t fit in there quite so snugly anymore!

Trying so hard to get the very last drop of milk out of my glass!

My great-grandma came over for dinner when we were at home, apparently she doesn’t like cats but Webster doesn’t care, he’ll sleep on anyone, quite comfortably too!

He thinks he’s a dog sometimes…

Playing cards, yup, we play cards with our cat. I bet you think we’re even crazier now!

And finally, I took this picture just now, he still loves to hang out with me when I’m on the computer! He’s grown so much, it makes me sad!

OK tell me I’m not THAT crazy! Has anybody else ever loved an animal this much? Anybody at all?

Cute!!! And Gary totally does the same thing sticking his head in glasses etc. It’s hilarious.

And I TOTALLY get you. I’ve babysat for many many years and sorta thought I’d gotten over looking after kids and couldn’t imagine having my own. But having my kitty makes me so maternal.

Webster is adorable! And no, a photo blog does not a crazy-cat-lady make you. At least it better not, or I’m in trouble, too!

My old Kitty drank from the toilet too–brought back some good memories. Thanks.

H =)

I absolutely adore your kitty!!! He looks a bit like my Nico!!

And Nico drinks EVERYTHING, especially my milk!!!! (But he dips his paws in the tall glass!)

I hate that kitties grow up so fast!

Yours is adorable though.

My cat thinks it’s a dog also, and ONLY drinks out of the toilet. She won’t drink water from her bowl anymore.
